The hovercraft is suitable for coastal sea areas within 5 nautical miles from the shore, or Class B inland river navigation areas, reservoir areas, lakes, as well as tidal flats, grasslands, swamps, snowy and ice-covered areas.
The hovercraft can quickly pass over water, thin ice or broken ice pieces, floods and snow, and carry out rapid and safe search and rescue operations. It is the only high-speed and effective rescue work platform in special environments such as swamps or beaches. Since the hovercraft can safely fly or land while hovering above terrains that are below two-thirds of the lift skirt, it enables the above-mentioned rescue personnel to reach areas where conventional rescue boats or vehicles cannot access to carry out rescue missions.
When the geographical environment around the airport near the coast or swamps is complex, the hovercraft is often the only platform that can provide rescue services in these areas.
